Tolly Actresses Heartbroken By Student's Death

The tragic suicide of Rishiteswari Devi, a B.Arch student at the ANU College of Architecture and Planning, has been a point of intense discussions ever since her death a week ago. While the young student's extreme step led to severe protests and political turmoil, it has also moved numerous commoners, who have been demanding stringent punishment to the culprits.

Heartbroken over Rishiteswari's shocking suicide, Lakshmi Manchu said that she can't believe that students are resorting to pathetic practices like ragging. Lakshmi also questioned why the culprits have not been arrested until now.

Hey achiever young actress Raashi Khanna too has expressed her grief and appealed to all the students not to take such extreme steps over issues like ragging. Raashi further suggested the youths to be strong, believe in themselves and their parents and teachers. The young actress also said that colleges must strictly enforce the laws against ragging.

Rishiteswari Devi, a first year student of B.Arch, committed suicide after suffering from several months of ragging, torture and even abuse by her seniors at college. The government has already suspended a couple of people in this case and a high-level investigation is on currently.
