Finally, NTR To Unleash The 'Sword'?

After almost a year long hullabaloo and the project juggling on a musical chair between top stars, looks like it's all set to unleash the 'sword' now. We are talking about the much discussed film, the Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster, Kaththi. After such a long delay, the project is reportedly back on tracks now.

According to the inside sources, Kaththi's Telugu version is being refined by the Tamil version director Murugadoss himself, who's said to be going easy on the controversial content. Apparently, NTR, who was once in talks with the makers, has recently given his nod to the remake finally. Gopichand Malineni, who was rumored to be the film's director long back, will be directing the film.

When Kaththi became a staggering box-office hit in Tamil, Tollywood producer Tagore Madhu bought the Telugu dubbing and remake rights and approached Powerstar Pawan Kalyan to reprise Vijay's role. Pawan, after much dilly-dallying, said no to the remake. Then, Allu Arjun and NTR came into the picture but after a huge buzz, the talk fizzled out in a month.

Kaththi, with NTR's typical intense performance, will be a sure shot blockbuster for its emotional content.
