What Is Bahubali's True Budget?

The biggest doubt anyone will get these days is about the budget of Baahubali. Looking at the breathtaking visuals created by Rajamouli for "Baahubali" speak volumes about the kinds of budgets involved to make this flick. But what is the genuine figure that went into making this flick? 120 or 150 or 250 crores?

Much before the film's trailer has come out, trade pundits have figured out that the two parts of "Baahubali" are costing nearly 120 crores and then the film won the name of most expensive movie India has ever made. Later the producers have kept stressing the figure of 150 crores at some occasions and even the lead-cast shared similar views at some animation and gaming events. Finally, it's Rajmouli who stunned Bollywood media as he stated that the money that went into producing this flick is nearly 250 crores. With so many figures being thrown, one wonders what the true figure among them is.

Surprisingly, overseas distributors are now showcasing some presentations to local distributors in order to shell out the film. As per the slide-show they are sharing, the film's budget is 175 crores for two parts. We hear that Baahubali Team in India has prepared this slide show and shared it across to overseas distributors. Now only Shobhu Yarlagadda's auditors know how much is spent really on Baahubali.
