Kannada director Pawan Kumar had won accolades for his writing and making for super hit film Lucia, which was later remade in Tamil as Enakkul Oruvan that was dubbed in Telugu as Naalo Okkadu. The Kannada director's latest creation U-Turn is gearing up for release and it is creating curiosity among film buffs, owing to attention-grabbing trailer.
Latest we heard is actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has watched special screening of U-Turn and she has expressed her enthusiasm to star in Telugu and Tamil remakes of the film. Pawan Kumar will direct the remakes, which will go on floors sometime this year. U-Turn is a female oriented mystery thriller that stars Shraddha Srinath in the lead role.
Samantha hasn't acted in a heroine centric film till date, so she is showing interest to star in U-Turn remake ever since she has watched the special show. Other details about the remake version are yet to be known.
Meanwhile, Samantha is working for half a dozen films in Telugu and Tamil. Her upcoming Telugu movies Brahmotsavam and A.Aa.. are slated to release in summer.
