After the tremendous performance of ‘Baahubali’, the maers of Tamil fantasy drama ‘Puli’ also are planning a mammoth release for Vijay’s movie in different languages. Earlier it was thought ‘Puli’ is going to have a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu. Now, ‘Puli’ is going to Bollywood.
The Hindi dubbed version of the movie is going to hit 1500 screens in Maharashtra and Telugu version 1200 screens in Telugu States. This shows that the Bollywood version is bigger than the Telugu version of the movie.
The makers think that ‘Puli’s fantasy elements would cater to the tastes of not only pan-Indian audiences but also to the international audiences. That means ‘Puli’s dubbed versions would go to China and Japan very soon after the release of the movie in regional markets and national market.
However, in Kerala, Tamil version will go directly instead of dubbing into Malayalam as Vijay’s direct films have good market in God’s Own Country.
