» Cops busted Party hosted by Superstar's Sister

Upon receiving complaints of loud music from neighbours, The Khar Police had busted a party hosted by Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan at her Pali Hill residence. A lot of Bollywood celebrities have graced this late night party.
Residents of Pacific Heights at Pali Hill informed to Mumbai Police Control Room about the loud music in their locality. The complaint was forwarded to Khar Police Station at around 2.30 am on Saturday. Soon, A Police team reached Pali Hill and made sure the music was turned off. The music system was seized and a fine of Rs 12,500 was imposed against the organiser for violating the norms. Subsequently, A case was registered under Section 33 (r) (3) of the Maharashtra Police Act.
In residential and public places, Music could be played only between 6 am to 10 am and that too till the permitted decibel-level based on the recommendation of Noise Pollution Rules, 2000.
