Balakrishna Announces Retirement From Films

Actor and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna is bidding adieu to films after completing 100th film with regard to focus fully on politics. The news has been confirmed by the actor himself. Balakrishna was in Hindupur today to launch several projects. He conducted bhoomi pooja for CC roads to be constructed with a budget of Rs 1.20 crores. He promised to develop Hindupur as number one city in the country. Balayya also pledged to complete Handri Neeva project in short period.

Meanwhile, Balakrishna is shooting for his 99th film Dictator in Sriwass direction. He will then start working for his 100th film to be directed by Boyapati Sreenu. As a matter of fact, Balakrishna wanted to quit films couple of years ago. However, he backed the idea with request from fans and TDP followers. Now, it is confirmed that Balayya will quit films after completing century.

Interim, Balakrishna's only son Mokshagna is expected to enter films in 2017. So, most probably Balakrishna's exit and Mokshagna's launching time would be same.
