The moment Megastar Chiranjeevi evinced an interest in doing his 150th flick, many filmmakers tried their luck enticing him with their scripts. As a comeback to acting after a hiatus of eight years, it was bound to create a huge buzz among Chiru’s fans. Now that the dust has settled, it looks like Chiru has chosen Puri Jagannath to direct this milestone movie.
It is reported to be a mass comedy entertainer with two heroines to romance Chiranjeevi. Speculation about who the leading ladies intensified when producer Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi’s son, announced that he will produce his father’s landmark film.
Although several heroines’ names figure on the list, inside sources say that Nayanthara, who has not worked with Chiru so far, is the top contender for being the main lead. The filmmakers are keen to know how this fresh pair will be received.
Sources say that talks are on with Nayan, and if all goes well, the Billa girl will be brought on board soon. Reports also suggest that Anjali, who commands a good market share in T’town, will be roped in for the second lead.
