Varun Tej's Next Confirmed With Puri Jagannadh

Mega scion Varun Tej forayed in to Telugu cinema recently with the film Mukunda. Though the film did not work well at the box office, Varun Tej has scored some brownie points with his amazing screen presence and intense acting. Varun, who is fondly known as Mega Prince, has been carefully filtering the scripts this time to hit it right. Meanwhile, Puri Jagannadh made it official that Varun Tej's next will be directed by him.

Until Puri Jagannadh came out and spoke about the project, everybody thought Varun Tej's next will be with Krish Jagarlamudi. But the things have tossed and Puri Jagannadh came in to picture. However, it is not a sudden decision. A film with Puri was always on cards. In fact, Varun Tej was initially offered Nithin's Heart Attack script for his debut. But the Mega clan felt it would be a risky subject for the debutant from their family, considering all the hype around. So that's how the film went into Nithin's hand. Finally, the combination of Puri Jagan and Varun Tej is again on talks.
