Dulquer as Gemini Ganesan!

Dulquer Salmaan, the bright young talent from Malayalam industry is also popular in Tamil and Telugu with his movies like OK Bangaram, Ustad Hotel, Bangalore Days, Charlie and many more. His movies release in big cities simultaneously with his Malayalam release. 

The actor being so popular also one of the young actors who is destined to greatness. The way he accepts best of the scripts, he got another chance to show off talent in another film. He now got a chance to act as Gemini Ganesan in the film, Mahanati. The film is a biopic on great actress Savitri's life and Keerthy Suresh is confirmed as the lead as Savitri. 

Along with her Samantha will be playing the important character of a journalist who chronicles her life. Earlier, the same role was offered to Suriya but the actor denied to be part of the movie after discussing about the script. Finally, Naga Ashwin got Dulquer Salmaan to play the all important Gemini Ganesan character in the movie. Vyjayanthi movies is producing the movie and soon the shooting of the movie will start.
