Once Again: Chaitu Picks Mahesh's Song As Title

There was a time when Saahasam swaasaga saagipo... song from Okkadu was hummed by one and all. The film was the first huge success of Mahesh and established him as a superstar.Now, the song will be used as a title for Naga Chaitanya's next. In the past too, Chaitu had songs as titles as director Gautam Menon loves to make titles out of popular songs.

Incidentally, Menon is also making the film in Tamil with Simbu in the lead and the title there is after the song Achcham yenbadhu madamaiyada. So, writer Kona Venkat suggested Mahesh's song for the Telugu version, say unit members.

In the past, Chaitanya and Menon had used the song Nuvvem maya chesavo gaani as En Maaya Chesave.

Manjima Mohan will be playing the heroine opposite Naga Chaitanya in the film and the teaser will be released on August 29, which happens to be his dad Nagarjuna's birthday.
