Gunasekhar who once delivered blockbuster hits is now struggling to make his presence felt. He recently turned into a a producer with his dream project, Rudhramma Devi. However, the movie had turned into death trap for the director’s career.
The trailer and audio of the film are not at all impressive and given the recent track record of Guna, there are no takers for the movie in many areas and so it is getting postponed repeatedly. At this crisis time, Mahesh Babu had offered to help him.
It is said that Mahesh agreed to come for the movie promotion. In fact, the actor was supposed to do the role of Gona Ganna Reddy but could not do due to the dates issue. Guna roped in Allu Arjun for the role. Finally, Mahesh came to the rescue of the director who delivered the first blockbuster of his career with Okkadu.
