BOTSA JOINS YSRCP TO FIGHT TDP

Former PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana has joined YSR Congress Party along with his followers and categorically stated that his move was to respect aspirations of the people to fight against the policies of Chandrababu Naidu which can be done only under the leadership of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
“It is only YSR Congress that can fight against the anti-people policies of the TDP Government and that is the reason why I have taken the decision to join the Party to fulfill the aspirations of the backward areas of North Coastal Andhra and other regions which are being neglected by the State,” Satyanrayana told reporters here on
Sunday after he formally joined the Party along with his wife and former MP Botsa Jhansi and a large contingent of followers. In the given circumstances it is only YSRCP under the leadership of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy that can take on the misrule of TDP and I am here to serve the Party with all my experience and following as the State has suffered a severe set-back in the division and TDP has failed to get the assurances of Centre translate into action.
The poll promises of Chandrababu Naidu remain a mirage. I have nothing against Congress Party but it is not possible to take up the issues of the people from that plank and in these circumstances YSR Congress is the only and viable alternative to fight the TDP Government which has miserably failed to fulfill the poll promises and the assurances given by the Centre while dividing the State.
YSR has gone to polls with a set of promises which he fulfilled after coming to power to 2004 and had done more. A mass leader is one who honours the sentiments of the people and Chandrababu Naidu is doing exactly the opposite and is working to further his business interests with Singapore companies, he said.
He brushed aside the rumours that he has joined the Party for the sake of a seat in the Legislative Council. “These are all petty things,” the former PCC President and State Minister said adding that the developments in the TDP one year term seem to be concentrated in one particular region which will give rise to disparities as the backwards “On the quid pro quo cases, he said the decisions taken are a collective responsibility of the entire cabinet and not just the minister concerned.”
As a responsible political leader I am ought to take care of the welfare of the region and people and this can be done only under the leadership of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy which is why I decided to shift and it is not for any posts or power. We are not the treasury benches and elections are not very close on hand, he said.
