It happened 2 Months after Power release: Bobby

Bobby proved his mettle as writer and director with films such as Balupu & Power. Two months after 'Power' release, This One-Film-Old Director received a call from Producer Sarrath Marar to ask him if he is keen to direct 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh'. 'Its like a dream. I could believe till an official announcement was made,' says the filmmaker.

Pawan Kalyan provided the basic storyline, a subject with huge span and loaded with commercial elements. It took five months for Bobby to develop the bound script and launch the movie in April last year. It was in January this year, Pawan Kalyan informed that 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' will release on April 8th and nearly 70% of the shoot was done in the past two months.

Admitting that revealing the whole story in the strategy was a strategy they followed, Bobby said the idea is to lower the expectations and thrill the audience visually. He says Pawan didn't interfere in his work and given him ample freedom. 

Bobby informs Sardaar is completely wrapped up and the Censor report is positive. A grand release is being planned on the Telugu New Year.
