Now that ‘Bahubali’ release is magnanimous and many of the theaters across the country are majority wise to be allocated for the magnum opus, trade circles have already began to estimate the scale of records SS Rajamouli and his team are going to break on day 1 and then in the first week. For a film of this magnitude, Box Office should have minute or no effect from first day talk or benefit show talk or for that matter even from reviews.
So, ‘Bahubali’ is the first and best choice for all kinds of movie lovers across the planet. Question is, how many of them will get a chance to watch this film either on first day or in first week? Currently, the trade buzz is roaring about first day collections and let us be restricted to July 10th.
Going by the huge demand for benefit show tickets sold at the range of Rs.4000 to Rs. 10,000; how good are our mathematicians and so called senior trade critics to interpolate a number? Anything less than 15 to 20 Crores share on first day (inclusive of premiers) would be a matter of shame for Telugu version. When the calculations are tough to end on first day within AP and TS, who will think about trade estimate of other versions and Overseas?
