Baahubali is all set to release across the world tomorrow. However the Kerala Film Exhibitor’s Federation has called for a statewide closure of all the theatres just a day ahead of Baahubali’s release.
Piracy is the major concern for the producers across all the industries. Off late, Malayalam industry was hit by this monster with the release of pirated copy of Premam movie. Premam is a Malayalam blockbuster and the movie’s collection has been drastically affected because of piracy.
Expressing their solidarity to the producers, the distrubutors have called for this strike. Baahubali is set to release on 125 screens across Kerala.
Initiatives are being taken to make sure that the strike is called off and doesn’t hamper the release of Baahubali.
