Rudramadevi and the release woes continue. September 4th
release date is nothappening anymore. The film got postponed yet again.
Though a new date is being announced, there are various troubles in the
vicinity which could hold it back to longer.
According to reports, main reason for the delay of Rudramadevi is
none other than thefinancial issue. Some big producers like PVP
have lent nearly 25 crores for the making of the movie, and now
that Rudramadevi producer and director, Gunasekhar, is not being
able to repay it. We heard that he failed to sell the movie to distributors
properly and make table profits out of it. Pounding interest charges are
adding salt to the wound.
Only when financiers give a clearance, the film will release. Else,
September 17th will not see the flinging of sword by this historical queen.
