After several postponements, Gunasekhar's 'Rudhramadevi's release date has been zeroed as September 17. However, here lies the problem. Tamil star Vijay's 'Puli' is also slated for release on the same day such that 'Rudhramadei' cannot be released in Tamil Nadu on time. The TN buyers have reportedly asked the makers not to release the movie on September 17.
It is also being said that Gunasekhar has no chance of releasing only Telugu version of the movie on September 17, as the TN buyers turned down the idea of Gunasekhar. Had the movie got released on September 4, the movie could have faced no problems. It remains to be seen whether the movie successfully gets released on scheduled release date or not.
Anushka has done the role of a protagonist as 'Rudhramadevi'. Maestro Ilayaraja has done the music score of this historical entertainer in 3D format. Gunasekhar himself produced and directed the movie on Guna Team Works.
