It is known that Mahesh Babu has declared everyone has to feel proud of 'Baahubali' and it deserves a free window for 2-3 weeks when asked about 'Srimanthudu' postponement. In a recent interview, Rajamouli was quizzed about the release date issue between the two biggies and this is how he responded.
Rajamouli: "Everyone looked at it as Srimanthudu Vs Baahubali but we never looked at it that way and were in touch with each other. It's so gracious of them to push back the release 2-3 weeks. Someone asked, If they had postponed the release out of fear. It's really silly! Why because if 'Srimanthudu' arrives before us, Then 'Baahubali' will be postponed for sure. This isn't a war! Irrespective of the content, Both films will have to lose if they clash at the Box Office".
"I should really appreciate Mahesh the way he spoke in a gentleman manner without losing his cool even though he was asked if he feared 'Baahubali'".
That shows both Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli have mutual respect for each other and wishes both the films to do equally well at the Box Office.
