Amidst these commercial films that have mostly the song and dance routines laced with double meaning dialogues and punch-dialogue scenes, many heroes generally look for films that happen once in a life time. Like the way Prabhas has done a movie like “Baahubali”, even other heroes are on the lookout for such especially for some mythological movies.
Veteran actor Krishnam Raju has some time back planned to direct Bhakta Kannappa with his brother’s son Prabhas in the lead. Later it is heard that writer Tanikella Bharani is penning another version of same mythology to make this flick with hero turned comedian Sunil. Finally, it is Manchu Vishnu who is getting into the skin of Bhakta Kannappa, and this movie is going to be as big as possible. Vishnu’s production house 24 Frames Factory now got associated with a Hollywood studio to make this flick a visual spectacle.
As Prabhas is doing Baahubali now, maybe this mythological film is not going to interest him due to the hard ships involved in production. But for Sunil, this movie would have become game changer. Anyway, Vishnu is expected to bring the best of mythology with this film.
