Malayalam rights of the movie were sold for a whopping Rs.1.75 crore, a record of sorts as far as dubbed films are concerned.
Films starred by Bunny collect between Rs.4 crore and Rs.5 crore in Kerala on an average. To promote his film, Bunny is all set to go to Kerala to have interaction with Malayalam fans. As far as Tollywood film industry is concerned, S/o Satyamurthy is the first major release during the current summer. As there were no major releases for the past two months, the audiences find the S/o Satyamurthy as a great relief. The cash registers at the box office are ringing as the audiences chose to ignore the talk the film has generated. The Success Meet of the film is slated for April 23 in Visakhapatnam.
