After Kerala, Bunny Conquers Karnataka

Much to the pleasant shock of fans and film lovers, Bunny's S/O Satyamurthy is recreating box office history all over the world. After conquering the box office in AP, Nizam and even overseas, S/O Satyamurthy has just created a sensational record in the history of 83 years of Telugu Cinema. Today, S/O Satyamurthy reached the magical mark of 4.75 crores share in Karnataka, a never before 1st week record for a Telugu film in the Kannada land.

Popular Kannada distributor, KV Gupta, bought the film's Karnataka rights for a whopping 6 crores. The makers' trick to rope in Kannada Star Upendra has paid of big time and the film will surely have a long, run thanks to Uppi dada's presence. With its successful run so far, S/O Satyamurthy is expected to break even within a week and the final range can be estimated within few days.

For a film which was released with heavy mixed response and average feedback from film buffs, these collections are indeed an eye-opener. Incidentally, Bunny surpassed his own record of 3.25 crores with Race Gurram by more than 1.5 crores margin, which only speaks volumes about the Stylish Star's growing strength at the Kannada box office.
