Victory Venkatesh and Power Star Pawan Kalyan's multi-starrer 'gopala gopala's release date has been in doldrums for quite some time ago. The movie was initially planned for release for Sankranthi. However, rumour mongers spread the gossips that the movie might go for a postponement due to the dubbing post production. However, Suresh Babu, one of the producers of the movie made it clear that the movie is being planned for release during Sankranthi for sure. Having learnt this news, fans of both the stars have gone berserk.The movie is expected to set new box office records.

Shriya will be seen opposite to Venkatesh while Pawan Kalyan will be seen in modern Krishna avatar. Music has been rendered by Anoop Rubens. Kishore Pardasani is the director of the movie. The movie has been made on Northstar Entertainment.
