In mid 90’s, Megastar Chiranjeevi acted in a Hollywood movie titled ‘Abu – Thief of Baghdad’.
The film which has completed 70 % of its shooting was simultaneous being made in English, Hindi and Telugu languages, in a grand scale with a budget of Rs. 50 crores in those days.
However, the shooting of the film was stopped after the film unit got into trouble with Muslim community leaders complaining of insulting the Holy Quran in the film.
As per the sources, now Ram Charan wishes to revive this film with slight changes in the story. He even seems to have consulted Parachuri Brothers in this regard.
If everything goes as per the plan, then the shooting of the film will get revived towards the end of 2015.
