After joining the creative department of Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's Phantom Films, Swetha Basu made an appearance in 'All India Backchod', which is Youtube comedy series, last month. She is also simultaneously working on her documentary on Classical Music titled as 'Roots' all these months. Now, She signed a feature film post the prostitution controversy.
Touted to be a horror-thriller, Swetha Basu plays a key role in this bilingual which will be made in Marathi & Bengali. Amit Khanna is directing this feature film. Shooting is being planned in Nashik and Kolkata.
Opportunity to act again is like a new beginning for Shweta Basu. Hopefully, The National Award Winning Actress makes it count!
