Actor and politician, Pawan Kalyan has interacted media in a press meet today (July 6) at 4.30 PM. The star has expressed his opinion over cash-for-vote, phone tapping and other burning political issues. Pawan started off countering critics who have been criticizing him of keeping mum for quite a long over these issues. The actor said he doesn’t want to be tongue-in-cheek, but talk some sense.
Pawan said that he was contemplating over the situation and wants to come up with concrete solution that he can suggest the governments of both the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Interestingly he praised CM K Chandrasekhar Rao for appointing an Andhrite architect, Anand Sai in designing the Yadagiri temple complex.
On cash-for-vote issue, Pawan doubted that in contemporary politics it is hard to follow ethics and values. Every party has got such stains, it is unfortunate but unavoidable to select better parties. Pawan affirmed that he is against ‘Section 8’. The Section deals with the powers of the Governor in the joint capital on enforcing Section 8 of AP State Reorganisation Act.
He expressed his anguish over referring political party members as ‘Andhrollu’. He feared unrest in both Telugu states that might lead to civil war as in Sri Lanka. The gathering broke into laughs when Pawan took the name of Botsa Satyanarayana at one point while saying Andhra includes different castes like Kammas, Kapus and schedules castes.
