'Srimanthudu' postponed for 'Baahubali': Producer

The producers of superstar Mahesh Babu's "Srimanthudu" have finally postponed its release date to pave way for "Baahubali".Initially, "Srimanthudu" was scheduled to release in theatres on 17 July. After "Baahubali" makers announced the film will release on 10 July.Now makers of Srimanthudu postponed the release date.

Following this, rumours were rife on social media that the makers had decided to delay the release of "Srimanthudu" by a couple of weeks as they did not want their film to lock horns with big-budget movie like "Baahubali" and suffer severe setback at the worldwide box office.

However, Baahubali producer Shobhu , upset over these false rumours, spoke to cleared the air surrounding the release of "Srimanthudu". Shobhu has slammed rumours that Srimanthudu film has postponed the release because of "Baahubali".

Shobu Yarlagadda: "I met #Srimanthudu producers some time back n explained our situation. I requested them to consider moving their release date if possible. We thank #Srimanthudu Producers, Director and Mahesh Babu for understanding and maintaining a healthy relationship in the industry".

"Srimanthudu" has been made on budget of around'₹50 crore, while the budget of "Baahubali" is'₹200 crore. Both the films are much-hyped and highly anticipated. Wish both film reach the expectations.
