Baahubali Vs Bajrangbali
Fans are already jubilating after Prabhas announced the release date of Baahubali as July 10. As everyone is eager to watch Baahubali on big screen, while every other big star movie has been giving way to the magnum opus one Bollywood movie might pour the water. And a debate is going on in Film Nagar circles. As being speculated Salman Khan’s much awaited movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan will be releasing for Id-Ul-Fitr i.e., July 17.
As Baahubali is getting bigger acclaim with KJo on board, it has attracted nationwide attention. The trailers in Hindi and Malayalam have got remarkable view count at par with Hindi films. The industry experts say that the mega budgeted flick need to be released in large number of screens to recover and break even. They add that it needs at least two weekends of full run in multiplexes as well as single screened theatres. But with Bajrangi Bhaijaan releasing just a week later, no matter what it’s anticipated theatres would give way to this Eid release.
This is what is haunting the makers of Baahubali that they are rethinking its release date. Rajamouli has been vary with the idea of releasing it on July 10 from the beginning. Earlier we heard that July 31 was the date on his mind. But since Karan’s inclusion, he had no choice but to abide by the date. The star Bollywood producer is believed to have set the deadline and there is no culture of rescheduling releases in Bollywood as makers often do in Tollywood. Let’s see what happens.
