Rohit Sharma shed the aggressive, competitive on-field image of that of Mumbai Indians captain and went traditional for his lady love. Looking dapper in maroon kurta, Indian batsman appeared at ease as he posed with Ritika who looked gorgeous in stylish pink-white lehenga. Ritika tweeted, “Love of my life ❤@ImRo45 in this lifetime and all the rest” with a loving picture of the couple. Rohit retweeted it writing, “Done deal Ritsy @ritssajdeh.”
Rohit had broken the news of the couple being engaged just a few days after he celebrated his 28th birthday as he tweeted a picture with Ritika (wearing the ring) on Sunday and wrote: “From best friends to soulmates, couldn’t get any better.” Ritika has since been spotted with the cricketer on numerous occasions throughout the eighth season of IPL.
The two have known each other for a long six years and Ritika manages his cricket engagements. Ritika alsoturned out to be the lucky cheerleader for her ‘Ro’, as she fondly calls him during this season as Mumbai Indians lifted their second trophy in the eight seasons take place so far.
A few days back, a victorious Mumbai Indians team led by their able skipper celebrated their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 triumph along with a large number of fans who turned up to cheer for the team at the Wankhede stadium.
