Any Birthday Treat From Rudramadevi?

After the release of the film's 3D theatrical trailer and even the audio album, Rudramadevi mysteriously went into oblivion, skipping all the promised released dates. With not even a wee bit of information being heard about the film, many are wondering if the film will hit the screens before July, when all the big budget movies will fight at the box-office with each other.

Today, two of the main pillars of this prestigious project, director Gunasekhar and music composer Ilayaraja celebrate their birthday. While this is completely coincidental that both the master technicians share the same birth date, many are wondering if Gunasekhar will come up with any special tidbit or yet another video snippet about the film.

Gunasekhar took Rudramadevi so seriously that he shelled out close to 70 crores to make the film over a period of 3 years. On the other hand, Ilayaraja too took special care in composing the background score for Rudramadevi at a world class recording studio in London. On the masters' birthday, let us hope that Rudramadevi will soon see the light of the day.
