Gopala's Half Century With Minor Injuries

Hailed as first ever hit of 2015 for Tollywood, Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh's multi-starrer movie, socio fantasy "Gopala Gopala" has finally completed 50 day run at box office. But not withstanding the star power, the film managed to score half century in just 5 centres including Vizag, Pitapuram, Kakinada, Rajahmundry and Karimnagar.

These days its tough to emerge triumph at 100s of centres when it comes to this 50 days event because the films are releasing in humongous numbers on release day. Majority of audiences are watching movies in first week itself due to availability of film in many theatres. That gets huge collections immediately and registers big drops for distributors in later weeks.

In the case of Gopala Gopala, the film has managed to collected 41.10 crores from its final share from box office while the theatrical rights are valued nearly at 46 crores. That indicates there is roughly 11% deficit on a whole. So some distributors might have incurred minor injuries while other left with no profit.

Can we see a flick in the coming days which could give at least 10% profits to all distributors? Tollywood's business model should change or films with stunning content should be made
