JB Sets India's All-time Record

Hollywood filmmaker Jon Favreau's 3D live-animation adventure fantasy film "Jungle Book" is running strong at the Indian box office. The fantasy drama, starring Neel Sethi, has been doing well in India since its release and there is no signs of slowing down at BO.

As per reports the film has collected over $23.7 million (Rs. 121.77 crores) by end of its second week. With this the film has become the highest grossing Hollywood film at Indian Box office.

The movie, which was dubbed in four languages - English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu - has surpassed the India collections of Hollywood movie "Fast & Furious 7," which minted Rs. 108 crore last year.The Jungle Book" which already crossed SRK'S Fan movie  is all set to beat Bollywood's highest grosser "Airlift," starring Akshay Kumar. "Airlift" accumulated Rs. 128.1 crore at BO. 

The film, with Indian-American actor Neel Sethi as Mowgli, made its way onto the screens in India on April 8, a week ahead of its release in the US.Bollywood stars likes Irrfan Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Nana Patekar, Shefali Shah and Om Puri have lent their voice for the Hindi version of "The Jungle Book".
