STORY
 Maisamma (Jagapathi Babu) is a big rowdy sheeter and a contract killer. Seenu (Sai Dharam Tej) is a carefree college student who falls in love with Siri (Regina Cassandra) at the first sight. But the trouble is brewing as some unknown assailants keep attacking her. And there is a political turmoil in the state. The rest of the story is all about how these three principle characters are connected with and how Seenu expresses his love to Siri and protects her.

Sai Dharam Tej: Sai Dharam Tej is the latest addition to the mega heroes who are setting silver screen on blaze. Sai Dharam Tej is very talented and has a flowing dialogue delivery. He has a flexible body language and is extremely at ease with camera. He is good with the dances and is deft at doing action sequences. He proves himself as worthy of talent even without the background. The mass look is an added advantage. All he needs to do is to select scripts wisely to carve a niche for himself to become a big hero.
 Others: Regina Cassandra who has done bubbly girl characters before has done the role of a serious girl who is searching for somebody. She is pretty good. Jagapati Babu has done another mass role of a rowdy sheeter with a bit of comedy angle attached to his character. Prakash Raj played the role of a politician with a limited screen time. Raghu Babu does an entertaining role.Satya Krishnan gets an interesting character. Shafi plays the role of an investigative journalist
TECHNICAL DEPARMENTS
 Story - screenplay - direction: It’s a story of hero taking up the cause of heroine and rescuing her. What makes this regular story different is the narrative style and screenplay. The entire film is narrated in a spaced flashback pattern. And there are a couple of twists. Director Ravi Kumar Chowdary comes up with a decent work. However, he tried to inject comedy in vital scenes by diluting content (hero using politician’s infertility certificate to make a comedy out of it than asking the politician for a DNA test). The climax of the film appear abrupt and tame. Other departments: Background music by Anup Rubens is nice. Some of the songs are good. The title track is nicely shot with a variety signature step. The composition of Ato Ito Eto song reminds us of Pantham Pantham song from Sye. Cinematography by Dasaradhi Sivedra is very good. Dialogues written by Diamond Ratnam are partly entertaining. Editing is okay. Production values by the producers Bunny Vaas (Geetha Arts) and Sri Harshith (Sri Venkateswara Creations) are slick.  Analysis: Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham is a film that is made to cater to all kinds of audiences. It has a regular story with different narrative style and a couple of interesting twists. The movie had an upset during the shooting period due to demise of Srihari who was later replaced by Jagapathi Babu. Plus points of the film are cast, narrative style and music. On the flipside, the climax should have been effective. On a whole, Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham acts as a platform to launch Sai Dharam Tej who gave an impressive performance and has decent commercial elements to make it work at box office. |
