Varun Tej takes part in an election campaign in Mukunda

Varun Tej's debut film, Mukunda is currently under progress in Amalapuram. Recently, a crucial scene featuring Varun Tej, Rao Ramesh and Pooja Hegde was shot in the town and sources, who were present at the shooting spot, have revealed that the scene has Varun Tej taking part in a municipal election campaign where he visits several houses in the locality to create awareness amongst the people. 

Directed by Srikanth Addala, the film is said to be a love story set in a village and the principal shooting is almost complete. The film look of the film was unveiled on the occasion of Chiranjeevi's birthday and the audio is expected to hit the stands in September. Tagore Madhu and Nallamalapu Bujji are producing the film. Prakash Raj is playing another important role in this eagerly anticipated film. Mickey J Meyer is scoring the music and V Manikandan is the cinematographer.
