For this crazy debut, in amidst huge competition, a popular audio company which bagged the rights of sensational projects Baahubali, Legend and Race Gurram got the rights. i.e. Lahari Music Lahari Music bought the audio rights of Akhil and the popular news Channel TV5 got the telecasting rights of Akhil, the power of jua for a pretty good price.
In Akhil, debut pair Akhil Akkineni and Sayyesha Saighal were the lead cast along with Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandham and Vennela Kishore, music was composed by S S Thaman and Anup Rubens, produced by Nithiin and directed by V V Vinayak.
