Inspired By Kalam, Kanchana Donates 1 cr

Raghava Lawrence has taken Philanthropy to a whole new level by being so generous to contribute a hefty sum for a good cause. This decision of the 'Kanchana' Star even shocked his mother & wife when he first informed them but they were supportive after a lot of convincing from his side.

Two new projects of Lawrence titled as 'Motta Siva Ketta Siva' and 'Naga' were launched on Monday. Apart from playing the lead, He will be directing these films and also produce them in association with Vendhar Movies. 

The Choreographer-turned-Director utilized Rs 1 crore advance he received for 'Motta Siva Ketta Siva' to fulfill his desire of paying back to the society which has given him so much. By dividing the amount equally, He wants to offer it to 100 honest youngsters towards financial assistance for education, planting trees & etc., The project is being named after former President Abdul Kalam 'Kalamin Kalchuvadil' and it will be guided by IAS Officer Iraianbu. Tamil actress Divya Darshnini is the first beneficiary of the project.
