Ramcharan’s venturing into Airlines business in association with Vankayalapati Umesh in the name of Turbo Megha Airways with a brand of Trujet is happy news for Mega Fans. Latest update is the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issued regional airline permit to this South Indian based airline.
‘This is the fourth new airline to fly in Indian skies after the change of Government. Air Asia, Vistara and Air Pegasus are the first three,’ Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju said. Meanwhile, Turbo Megha Airways services are to get operational from July 12th with two ATR aircrafts (70 seats each) connecting Rajahmundry with Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai.
From July 26, there will be one more additional ATR Aircraft added to the squad covering the additional routes of Hyderabad to Tirupathi, Aurangabad, Mangalore and Hubli. The company is planning to increase its Aircraft strength to five by early next year depending upon the occupancy ratio.
