There is an air of surprises over Baahubali from the day it started.
First nobody believed the movie budget and then nobody believed
its business. And then every body were taken by surprise with
its humongous release, hype, collections and then records. Despite
what one believes or not, the movie is one of the biggest hits ever
in Indian Cinema and the records are here to stay for a very long time.
On the other side, there is a tremendous hype for the movie's sequel.
A very reliable source had informed us that some corporate company
had come up with a single deal of 300 Crore for all the rights
of Baahubali. The makers just have to complete the film and give
them the first copy. The distribution, release and the
loss/gain calculations will all belong to that company there after.
However the makers of Baahubali did not get excited and kept the deal
in pending. So far the biggest ever single deal in Telugu Cinema is
for Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh-2 which is around 70-75 Crores.
By now you can imagine the magnitude of Baahubali-2. 40% of the
movie shoot is already complete and the rest will resume
from September 15th. Rumours are rife that the movie is planned
for Sankranthi 2016 release.
