The makers of SS Rajamouli's Baahubali have made the costliest
film ever made in Indian Cinema and now had intensified their trials
to save their film from Piracy demon. All the industry biggies came
together to help Rajamouli and his team in this endeavour. A press
meet was arranged by them in Film chamber a short while ago
and they revealed the anti—piracy plans.
All the digital prints of the movie will have an inbuilt watermark
facility. Whenever some one records a film from a theater, the print will
have a watermark with theater name, time and date of the recording with
which the theater aiding piracy can be pinned down. Film Chamber is
planning one year ban on such theaters. No films will be released
in such theaters in one year.
A special monitoring cell was also opened in film chamber with
couple of helplines. Any reports about online and offline piracy
will be immediately forwarded to the concerned teams and action will be
taken immediately. In the press meet, one media personnel pointed
out that big ticket rates and black marketing is also a reason for the
piracy but Rajamouli refused it saying that piracy exists even when
there are less ticket prices.
