The biggest magnum opus ever made on the silver screen of India is Rajamouli's "Baahubali".
One would have money, talent and creativity- but mobilising everyone to make the best of the resources available is a herculean task that is made possible only by Rajamouli. That's why even a directorial giant like Karan Johar said that making a movie of this scale wouldn't be possible in Bollywood because they don't have a Rajamouli there.
Coming to recently concluded Baahubali audio function, the response is tremendous for the grandeur put by Rajamouli not just by inviting thousands of people but making sure that they will be entertained thoroughly. Especially when each of big-artiste of Baahubali introduced their painter, production-assistant and body double to audiences, it's just hair rising to look at. Which filmmaker is there to talk about his assistants and food-serving-guys at an audio function? Who will tender a public apology to his son for treating him little rashly on the sets? Rajamouli has introduced the unseen, neglected yet crucial teammates to the world. This is what every single cinema lover is feeling great about the function.
There is another side however. Some pointed out that, it being an audio function Rajamouli failed to invite the lyricists on to the stage. As songs of the flick are being released, generally we feel mandatory to invite song writers and honour them. Especially those people who patron poets and lyricists feel sad for this. But film lovers are stressing, "If a lyricist contributes extra-ordinary work then his name will get sung loudly without any publicity".
When Rajamouli could introduce his production-assistants to all, definitely calling lyricists and introducing them to people isn't a big deal. Probably time-scarcity hadn't allowed him.
