Some movies have universal appeal because the basic connect of emotions would be the same everywhere across the globe despite the cultural, social and political differences. Malayalam ‘Drishyam’ is one movie which is proving the point. Here is a Pawan Kalyan’s movie which is also doing the same.Telugu industry hit ‘Atharintiki Daaredi’ is remade in Kannada as ‘Ranna’ starring ‘Eega’ villain Sudeep in the lead role. This Friday it opened to record collections and the movie has already garnered a superhit talk assuring a block buster for Sudeep who is a superstar in Sandalwood.
Like it happens during the star heroes movies releases, one of Sudeep’s die hard fans had to breathe his last while erecting a banner for Sudeep’s ‘Ranna’. Current shock is learnt to be the cause of the fan’s death. Is this kind of craze acceptible?
Though we are happy that our Trivikram’s magic is also working in Sandalwood, repetition of such sad incidents aren’t desirable and hence stars should take these things seriously and create awareness among fans not to take their favouritism and craze climbs to such tragic levels.
