The Wonderful Kaaka Muttai was not only supported and promoted pretty well by Dhanush but also the rave reviews followed by mouth talk made Kaaka Muttai big at Chennai Box Office in collections.
Meanwhile, the star kids of Kaaka Muttai who were the ardent fans of Indian Cricket ODI Team Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was met Dhoni along with director Manikandan on 6th June Saturday in Mumbai without any intimation; Dhoni met the kids and spend more than an hour on the sideliness of shooting in Mumbai. These star kids vignesh and Ramesh were very excited and happy to met their Idol MSD and in the same way Dhoni expressed his happiness by saying that he would watch Tamil films occasionally with English Subtitles.
Dhoni also told that he was very impressed with the few scenes which he had watched from Kaaka Muttai with English subtitles. Kaaka Muttai leading to a super hit film by showing unexpected growth in the collections since from Day 1.
KaakaMuttai collected 4.2cr for 4 days in Tamil Nadu where as Fox Star Studios was planning to release in other parts of the country. Kaaka Muttai experienced a slight drop in collections after the weekend and it was slated to release in Kerala on 26th June. Kaaka Muttai was produced by Hero Dhanush under his Wunder Bar films, directed by Manikandan.
