Change The Game - Mahesh, Charan & NTR

Looking at the way Bollywood is churning out family dishes, it's high time for Tollywood to keep their larger-than-life stories aside and think in this direction. Especially if change is needed, biggies like Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan and Jr NTR need to come out of the cocoon, break the stereotypes and try out new stuff.

In the recent weeks, we have seen movies like Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Piku and most recently Dil Dhadakne Dho doing great at Bollywood box office. All these films have family threads, mind blowing emotions and a wonderfully woven storyline that is quite far from heroics and all. Rather donning same police, pokiri and mischievous kind of roles, what if Mahesh, Charan and NTR changes their path? During the good olden times of NTR, ANR and SVR, there used to be these family dramas where even youths have admired. They used to watch movies like Gundamma Katha and Missamma again and again. In the modern times, such marvellous family dramas are not being signed by any star hero.

Barring Seethamma Vaakitlo, no big star hasn't done such a movie with full of real emotions and connect these days. Hitting the goons, dancing on the floor and romancing a hot lady are the regular elements we're seeing in almost all the films. Maybe if biggies try their hand at complete family oriented genre, couple of films might flop but they could set the trend and change mindset of audiences too. And if they could experiment with such films in a meagre budget, then there will be no question of losing money even if it's a flop.
