YVS' Good Friday gift to Powerstar fans

The much delayed high budget musical extravaganza Rey was released last week to a lukewarm response from critics. However, the film minted decent collections in B and C centres, even though it saw disappointing numbers at A centres and multiplexes. Adding to this, Jil's success also affected Rey's collections to an extent.

Last night, YVS Chowdary and his team celebrated the audio platinum disc function in which the direction announced that the Pawanism tribute song will be included in the film from today, which is a Good Friday holiday. Trade circles are now wondering if YVS reemerges with thumping collections at least after the addition of this special song.

Industry insiders say that YVS spent all his lifetime earning on the film and that the film needs to collect phenomenal numbers to bring back his investment. With new releases like Avunu 2 and the Hollywood action flick Fast and Furious 7, will Rey see YVS swim towards the safe shores? It's all in Powerstars' fans hands from today.
