Costumes worth Rs 2 cr for megastar

Director YVS Choudhury whose much delayed film ‘Rey’ is finally gearing up to hit the screens on March 27 after a huge delay recently mentioned that they spent a bomb (nearly Rs 2 crore) for the costumes in the film.It is heard that to justify the pop star look of Shraddha Das, the makers have roped in experts from Hyderabad, Chennai and Sholapur.

Extensively shot in Las Vegas, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, West Indies and Tamil Nadu, the film revolves around dance and music. Starring Sai Dharam Tej and Saiyami Kher in the lead, the film is Choudhury’s home production under his banner Bommarillu productions.
