Pawan Kalyan’s Gopala Gopala slated for Sankranthi release?

Remakes are a part and parcel of Indian cinema. While a number of Bollywood filmmakers remake blockbuster films from South, Pawan Kalyan’s Gopala Gopala proved that remake culture is a two way street indeed. Power star Pawan Kalyan’s comeback film Gopala Gopala is an official remake of Akshay Kumar-Paresh Rawal’s Oh My God!
The film also stars Venkatesh, Shriya Saran and Mithun Chakraborty in the lead roles. The fans who are eager to catch Pawan in Lord Krishna’s avatar are so far disappointed as the release of the film has been delayed due to date problems of the actors. Now the latest buzz in Tollywood is that makers of Gopala Gopala are eyeing for Sankranthi release.
Pawan Kalyan is gearing up for the shoot of his next film Gabbar Singh 2 in December, which has forced the cast and crew of Gopala Gopala to wrap up the shoot in a jiffy. Will Attarintiki Daredistar make a comeback into films on the festive season of Sankranthi or will the release be postponed due to more delays remains to be seen. Also fans, who have loved the original, are hoping that power star’s Krishna portrayal is on par with Akshay’s incredible performance as Lord Krishna.
