In a recent interview, Gunnam Gangaraju was asked which actor in Telugu Film Industry does he finds more interesting. The filmmaker replied he finds NTR more interesting among the younger generation and Pawan Kalyan among the actors of slightly older generation.
Gunnam Gangaraju claimed he turned into producer just because there were no producers for his scripts. He regrets making a film like 'Chandamama Lo Amrutham' which costed him to the tune of Rs 7 crore.
The director-cum-producer finds fault with the discrimination towards commercially successful films when it comes to awards. He feels the defect is with the mindset of jury members who believe awards are only meant for films which have sad themes or unsuccessful.
